learn about mam
The Michael Adeleke Moyo Foundation will primarily cater to the needs of indigent and impoverished children who cannot afford formal education as a result of losing a parent as a result of death, abandonment, or abject poverty. Born in 1941, the young Adeleke was deprived of formal education due mainly to the demise of his father on November 15, 1946. Upon becoming a man, he prioritized the education of his children knowing how much he wanted it for himself as a kid but could not get it. According to his first son, “Our father is a disciplinarian and hardworking man to the core who went extra mile to educate all his children to ensure that his loss turned out to be their gain."
The MAM Foundation was launched to commemorate Chief Moyo’s 80th birthday. It is hoped that this foundation will eventually scale to cater to several needs, but at launch, its sole focus will be on Schooling Chance.
We are duly registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (RC Number 174936) and are fully accountable to everyone of our sponsors.

As important as laying this monumental foundation is, ensuring its sustainability is more important. To that end, we are calling on well-meaning individuals across the globe to support the Michael Adeleke Moyo family on this journey. In addition to our Sponsor a Child approach, we also take one-off donations to give as many individuals as possible, the chance to directly impact lives positively. We are committed to supporting every child selected to benefit from the program till the end of their secondary education at the very least, which means that a sponsor may be responsible for putting a child through primary and secondary education over a 12-year period.
